Description

This 2-day workshop equips academics with the basic skills required to implement e-Learning at IMU. It covers the basics in instructional design, PowerPoint design, e-Learning content development, using the Learning Management System (LMS), and classroom engagement tools. Once you have completed the training and learning assessment activities, you will receive the temporary e-Learning License. It is valid for 2 years.

Once you have implemented all the e-learning requirements in your actual course with evidence, you will be granted the permanent e-Learning License.

 

Learning outcome

After this workshop, you will be able to:

• Apply Gagne’s 9 events of instruction to design more engaging learning content and experiences.
• Use PowerPoint to design more effective presentations and graphics.
• Use Articulate Presenter to record audio and synchronize animation/annotation.
• Use Articulate Engage templates to design more engaging and attractive e-learning content.
• Use Articulate Quizmaker to design interactivity and quizzes for the e- Learning content.
• Use the LMS (Moodle) to upload notes and manage your course(s).
• Use the LMS to add and facilitate online forums.
• Use the LMS to add and manage online assignments.
• Use the LMS to add quizzes and the grading feature to monitor student progress.
• Use interactive web tools to engage and assess students during face-to- face learning sessions.
