Asrama Damai Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Kuang

Overview

Asrama Damai Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Kuang is an orphanage located in Kuang, 36 km from IMU Bukit Jalil Campus. This orphanage provides education as well as healthcare for the unfortunate children. However, they require expert assistance in health education for the children and caregivers. There are 69 children living at the orphanage, aged between 3 to 18 years old.

Objectives

Asrama Damai Project Leader

  • To perform general health and dental screening for children at Asrama Damai
  • To provide consultation for the children with detected health issues
  • To educate the children and caregivers on how to take care of their health
  • To assess the children and caregiver’s knowledge, attitude and practice regarding health issues

Target Audience

  • Orphans
