Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation Malaysia (ADFM)

The Alzheimer’s resource project in IMU was initiated by the department of psychology in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s disease Foundation Malaysia (ADFM) in 2016. The initial idea was to design a blog called ‘ADFM-IMU Alzheimer’s blog’ in order to provide a platform for professionals, students, patients and caregivers within Malaysia to improve and spread the knowledge and awareness about the disease, and to keep themselves updated regarding the latest news nationally and globally.

Bloomers Training House Sdn Bhd

Bloomers Training House Bhd is a center for special needs adults, where they will be trained on time management (punch cards) and simple practical skill-based jobs (packing cutlery items, fixing bolts and nuts etc).

CareNS

CareNS is an initiative at Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar, Seremban, to raise awareness about mental health among young adults, while providing informational support for non-governmental organisations that help people with mental health issues.
