ROH Community School Kluang


ROH Community School Kluang is a learning centre for refugee children located in Kluang, Johor, that is supported by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Soroptimist International Club Iskander Puteri (SIIP). Together, they are dealing with health issues, children education and other support for the Rohingya refugee community. The community school is located at a shop lot, where 40 children attend the school. The community consist of 1,000 families with financial and health issues.

  • Create a health record for the refugee children and identify their health issues.
  • Health awareness and promotion in the community.
  • Health education on basic hygiene practices and first aid skills.
