Chinese Medicine
Position: Lecturer
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and a postgraduate qualification (Master’s and/or PhD) in TCM. They should have proven experience in teaching, clinical practice, and/or research within the field of TCM. The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, School of Pharmacy at IMU University invites applications for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position. Senior Lecturer, Psychiatry
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and clinical workshops for medical students in the field of psychiatry.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship to medical students during clinical rotations in psychiatry, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to ethical standards.
- Contribute to the development, evaluation, and enhancement of psychiatry curricula, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and evidence-based practices.
- Engage in scholarly activities, including clinical research, translational research, and educational research, with a focus on advancing psychiatric knowledge and improving mental healthcare outcomes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lectures and practical sessions in Pathology to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update the Pathology curriculum in line with the latest advancements in the field.

Bioveterinary Science
Position: Senior Lecturer
Responsibilities
- Facilitate learning and conduct research at IMU, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students using diverse methods including lectures, seminars, tutorials, and e-learning.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and high-quality learning experiences.
- Assess students' coursework, set and mark examinations, and plan field visits.
- Establish industry partnerships and participate in accreditation exercises.

Clinical Psychology (Master)

Required Qualifications
Candidate required to fulfill the following requirement:- MUST be a registered counsellor under Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia (LKM).
- PhD/Doctorate degree in counselling or master’s degree in Counselling or Counselling Psychology with minimum of 5 years of teaching of teaching OR practising counsellor experience OR both teaching and practicing experiences are greatly valued.
Preferred Qualifications

Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Health and Health Informatics
Position: Senior Lecturer
The successful candidate is expected to have at least a postgraduate degree in in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or related fields. Candidate must also have demonstrated expertise in both practice and scholarship in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Evidence of fundable research in the field of Data Science and demonstrated excellence in teaching are required for these positions. A strong industry network and experience in designing and building healthcare data analytics solutions will be an added advantage.Chiropractic
Candidates are expected to have a professional degree in Chiropractic from a fully accredited CCE, CCEA, ECCE or CCEC programme and preferably a PG Diploma, Fellowship or a Master’s degree in related field such as Radiology, Neurology, Rehabilitation, Paediatric, etc. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of clinical and teaching experience and must be eligible for registration with the Malaysian Traditional and Complementary Medicine Council.
Dentistry

Candidates are expected to have a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree or an equivalent dental degree that is in the accredited list of the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC) and a higher academic qualification such as a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification. Candidates whose basic dental degree is not in the accredited list of Malaysian Dental Council (MDC) will need to have at least 5 years of clinical experience including relevant research and teaching experience after receiving their postgraduate qualifications. Candidates with a PhD or a professional qualification such as the FDS from a Royal College of Surgeons in the United Kingdom or Australia or other recognised clinical qualification in their respective fields are preferred.
