19 January 2017 – In line with the college’s vision to be a centre of academic excellence, IMC Education Sdn Bhd will be offering a number of short courses and workshops in 2017. To start of the new year, IMC hosted its first workshop with the IV Cannulation workshop at its campus in Subang Jaya. The 1-day workshop brought together 21 registered nurses from private hospitals such as Gleneagles Medical Centre KL, Columbia Asia Hospitals, and Pantai Hospital Cheras to undergo training and gain valuable knowledge, skills, and current best practices that is required to insert peripheral intravenous cannula. Not to be left out, IMU also sent its educators from the Bukit Jalil and Seremban campuses to attend this workshop.

Participants of the workshop were of the view that the information and practice session they got were very helpful. Feedback provided by participants were also valuable in helping the trainer improve on her next workshop which is planned for June 2017.
