Drama Presentation or Dramatisation

In IMU BSc (Hons) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry programme, drama presentation or dramatisation has been used as a cooperative teaching-learning strategy with first year students on the subject related to ethics in laboratory safety and scientific research.  During the presentation, the students are given the opportunity to dramatise stories in laboratory settings and  explore the ethical dilemmas and arguments in relation to chemical and laboratory safety. The process of learning through dramatic play cover important aspects of training including development of self-confidence, and enhancement of group relations, cooperative work and non-verbal communication skills.
