IMU Emerges as Overall Champion of the 4th MyPSA National Pharmacy Competition 2024

The IMU Pharmacy Students’ Association (IMUPSA) recently celebrated a significant milestone by successfully hosting the 4th MyPSA National Pharmacy Competition (NPC) 2024. This prestigious event, which brought together pharmacy students from universities across the nation, was a testament to the dedication, organisational skills, and collaborative spirit of IMU‘s student body.

 

Under the capable leadership of Tan Xin Ni, the organising committee executed the competition with exceptional precision and professionalism. Their meticulous planning and coordination were evident in every aspect of the event, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for all participants.

 

The competition comprised several key challenges designed to test the participants’ knowledge, skills, and critical thinking:

Clinical Pharmacy Challenge:
Pharmacy Quiz Challenge:

Focused on practical skills in pharmaceutical compounding.
Centered around clinical knowledge and patient care scenarios.
A rigorous quiz covering a broad range of pharmacy-related topics.

IMU’s teams performed exceptionally well in these challenges, securing top positions in multiple categories:

These outstanding achievements led to IMU being named the Overall Champion of the competition. This accolade is a testament to the high standards of education and training at IMU, as well as the hard work and commitment of its students and faculty.
