ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
International Medical University, School of Dentistry, is organising an International Dental Students Conference (IDSC) to be held on 16-18 October 2021 using a virtual platform. The theme of this conference is “Excelling through Evidence Based Dentistry” that aims to provide a platform for dental students to share their research work, clinical cases, oral health promotion videos and Sharing perceptions.
This will enhance their interaction with students from other Universities, their research knowledge and skills. This three days conference will be attended by dental undergraduate and postgraduate students from Malaysia and overseas.

CALL FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
The scientific program committee is delighted to invite you to submit abstracts for following presentation categories:
- Oral Presentation (Original Research)
- Clinical Case Presentation (Case Report OR Case Series)
- Oral Health Promotion Video
- Sharing Perception Competition
- Structured abstract must include Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion for Oral presentation and Sharing Perception competition.
- Non-structured abstract must not include headings for Clinical case presentation and Oral health promotion video.
- Abstract word count must not exceed 300 words.
- Abstract should be submitted in Times New Roman with font size 11 and 1.5 line spacing.
- Abstract should be submitted in Microsoft word document.
- Conference registration is compulsory for the first author or the presenting author to participate in any of the above four competition categories.
- All abstracts received will be reviewed by the scientific panel and the authors will be notified through email regarding acceptance or rejection of the abstract by 30th August 2021.

- Register for the IDSC conference.
- Download and complete the abstract submission form given below.
- Submit the abstract submission form to conference secretariat at [email protected]
- You will receive an email confirming that your abstract has been received.
