Since 2015, Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad (AMB), together with IMU has taken the initiative to develop a delicious low-sodium balanced menu with umami applications for the elderly. The use of AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning successfully reduced up to 45 per cent of sodium in the menu served to the elderly daily. This project is part of the ASV initiative and IMU Cares community programme. It was awarded with the Silver Award for the Best Community Program in the Global CSR Summit & Award 2017.
