Dr Hira Choudhury and Dr Manisha Pandey of Department of Pharmaceutical Technology under the School of Pharmacy, International Medical University (IMU) published a scientific article with title ‘Dendrimer-entrapped gold nanoparticles as promising nanocarriers for anticancer therapeutics and imaging”, in a high impact factor journal ‘PROGRESS IN MATERIAL SCIENCE’ (IF- 23.75).
Moreover, Dr Hira Choudhury and Dr Manisha Pandey achieves a cumulative impact factor of around 50 in 2018. Most of these papers are from their own research projects while a few others were through their collaborative research and students’ projects. Most importantly, all of their publications in 2018 were published in journals with ISI impact factor. Several of these publications are published in Tier 1 journals.
In total, in 2018, they have published 15 research publications and three book chapters in Elsevier. Several of their publications were from the academic curriculum, namely the Current Trends and Therapeutics (CTT) module in Semester 6 of the Bachelor of Pharmacy programme, where students are encouraged to write a review, supervised by lecturers. A large number of their publications were also published through collaborative research.
