Bryan Lim, a third year medical student at NUI Galway, who transferred from IMU to the partner medical school in 2017, was the recipient of the 2018 Dr Dom Colbert Medal in Travel Medicine. This is a national competition which is open to all six medical schools in the Republic of Ireland. Bryan was presented with his medal and certificate at a special awards ceremony in Dublin on 21 April 2018.
