The International Medical University (IMU) hosted the 10th Asian Medical Education Association Symposium from 12 to 14 April 2019 at its Bukit Jalil campus. The two-day symposium saw 350 delegates from 35 countries convening and exchanging insights and ideas in the fusion of physical, digital and biological worlds that challenge the concept of humanity with technology. AMEA 2019 also hosted the 2nd Global University Medical Challenge (GUMC), which brought together medical students from around the world to participate in challenges that test their knowledge against each other as well as share ideas and experiences while fostering new friendships. This year’s champion was the team from Chulalongkorn University while at 1strunner-up position was the UKM team and Taylor’s University at 2nd runner-up position. Article is in Mandarin.
