Three Malaysian students, Justin Yeoh, Pui Li Lai and Khai Shuen Kuu spent two and a half years studying dentistry at IMU, prior to transferring to Dalhousie University for completion of their degree. This is the result of a new partnership between IMU and Dalhousie’s Faculty of Dentistry. Dal is the first and only one of IMU’s partner in North America. These students were able to start their dentistry studies right out of high school. This means that they are younger — 22 and 23 — than many of their classmates in the second-year class they joined.
