HOPE Walk is a stroke awareness initiative by the National Stroke Asociation of Malaysia (NASAM). It is an annual event that is held simultaneously in major towns across Malaysia in the month of October, to bring about an increasing public awareness on stroke. Participated by all eight NASAM Centres across Malaysia, and in a spirit of togetherness, this Walk is organised to celebrate and honour stroke survivors, caregivers and their families on World Stroke Day which will be celebrated on 29 October 2013.

National Stroke Association of Malaysia or NASAM started in 1996. NASAM centres function as places for stroke survivors to help themselves in their rehabilitation process, to interact with fellow survivors, and to get information and group support for themselves as well as for their carers. Well done to everyone who participated in the HOPE Walk 2013.
