Course Content and Delivery
Course content is prepared by experts in the field of Implant Dentistry. The content is delivered with a variety of methods including lectures, seminars, CBL, practical and clinical hands-on.

Flexible Learning Options
Flexible modular design that provides options for dentists to continue working in their clinics whilst enrolled on the course. Flexibility to treat patients in IMU’s Oral Health Center as well as in students’ own clinics.
Entry Requirements
Academic Requirements
Applicants are required to:
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent qualification
- Registered under Division 1 of the Malaysian Dental Register and holds current Annual Practicing Certificate(APC); or
- Registered with the dental regulatory body in another country and eligible to be granted a TemporaryPracticing Certificate (TPC)
- Eligible to apply for an APC or TPC (whichever is applicable) that is specific to the IMU Oral Health Centre (OHC) and eligible to attend clinical sessions in the Centre during the study period of the programme
- A minimum of one (1) year clinical practice after basic degree
- Able to demonstrate an interest in Endodontics with appropriate baseline knowledge and skills in general dentistry
- Health requirements as required by IMU

- IELTS : Band score 6.0; or
- TOEFL iBT : Overall score of 60 / Scale score of 4.0; or
- MUET : Band 4
- Cambridge English : Advanced (CAE) : Overall score of 169; or
- Cambridge English : Proficiency (CPE) : Overall score of 169; or
- Cambridge Linguaskill : Overall score of 169; or
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) : Overall score of 59;
- ELS (CIEP Level) : 109
The following categories of students are exempted from the above requirements:
- International students from countries in which English is the first language.
- International students who graduated from any Malaysian or other institutions where the curriculum is delivered in English.

Programme Structure
This programme is designed for full-time and part-time students with respective flexible options. It covers 6 modules with a total of 30 credit hours to be delivered over 1 year. Each module takes approximately 6 weeks including 1 week of on-site activities at IMU School of Dentistry. For clinical activities, students have the choice of treating patients at the IMU Oral Health Centre or in their own clinics.

- Students must adhere to the Policy on Payment of Fees
