Unlocking Your Future with IMU’s Student Exploratory Workshops

The Student Exploratory Workshops at IMU University offer a unique opportunity for students to explore the world of medical, health sciences and beyond as well as the career paths it presents. These workshops are tailored for high school and pre-university students, featuring fun and interactive sessions led by university staff from various undergraduate programmes.

Through a wide range of activities designed to spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and build practical skills, the workshops provide students with hands-on experience and real-world exposure. In August 2024, the University hosted three Student Exploratory Workshops at its Bukit Jalil campus.

Ideal for anyone curious about Medical Biotechnology, Biomedical Science and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, this one-day workshop provided students with the opportunity to step into the world of science and unlock their inner scientist. At the workshop, participants learnt essential laboratory techniques while exploring potential career paths that align with their passions and aspirations.

This half-day workshop was for pre-university and high school students who are eager to explore the fascinating world of Chinese Medicine and Chiropractic! Through interactive activities and demonstrations, participants will also learn about the exciting and in-demand career paths in these fields.
