Unlike previous terms, where some committee members held general roles, these newly defined responsibilities will drive more structured and impactful contributions, helping AAIMU achieve new milestones in alumni engagement.
The newly appointed AAIMU 25/26 Committee is embarking on an exciting journey towards strengthening and expanding the association’s impact. Under the leadership of the re-elected President, the committee is committed to fostering deeper alumni connections while taking significant steps toward greater independence as an association.

One of the key aspirations for this term is for AAIMU to become a self-sustaining entity. While IMU University has always been a guiding force, the time has come for the association to take full responsibility for its own growth and decisions. Though challenges and obstacles may arise, AAIMU remains confident that IMU will continue to be a supportive presence, offering guidance when needed.
At the heart of AAIMU’s mission is the goal of strengthening alumni engagement. This term, however, the committee aims to go beyond just fostering connections. A significant focus will be placed on identifying and celebrating ‘High-Impact Alumni’—graduates who have made outstanding contributions in their respective fields. These individuals will serve as mentors and role models for younger alumni across three core strategic areas: entrepreneurship, teaching and learning, and community engagement. By recognising and highlighting these accomplished professionals, AAIMU hopes to inspire the next generation of IMU graduates to achieve excellence.
The term ahead is expected to be a dynamic one, with a calendar full of biennial events and initiatives aimed at strengthening the Alumni Chapters. The committee will serve as a bridge between these chapters, ensuring that their objectives align with the broader vision of AAIMU.
As the AAIMU 25/26 Committee embarks on this journey, there is a shared sense of enthusiasm and commitment to elevating the association. With a clear vision and a dedicated team, AAIMU is poised to enter a new era of growth, mentorship, and community-building—ensuring that IMU alumni continue to make a lasting impact in their respective fields and beyond.
