Conference Information
Please note that this is a non-scientific presentation, allowing participants who may not have cited or published any papers to join the conference. We welcome everyone and are here to support you, regardless of whether your findings are scientifically driven or not. You can present an abstract based on your own interests of study or areas of expertise. It could be a first-hand abstract prepared specifically for this conference to share your experiences and data gathering. – add on good opportunities for final year students to present their paper through oral or poster.
Submission Categories
1. Entrepreneurship & Leadership Management
We invite submissions that explore entrepreneurship and leadership practices within the One Health ecosystem, with particular emphasis on digital innovation and transformation. Contributors are encouraged to draw on practice-based theories, applied frameworks, and real-world experiences to examine how organisations, startups, and leaders are navigating change.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Digital entrepreneurship and innovation in healthcare and One Health-related sectors
- Leadership in technology-enabled organisations and startups
- Digital business models, platforms, and ecosystems
- Challenges and opportunities in scaling health and wellness enterprises
- Data-driven decision-making and digital strategy in healthcare leadership
- Future trends in entrepreneurship and leadership within the One Health context
Submissions may be reflective, experiential, or analytical, and should highlight practical insights, lessons learned, and future directions.
2. Teaching and Learning
This stream focuses on innovative, inclusive, and digitally enabled approaches to teaching and learning in healthcare and related disciplines. We welcome contributions that share effective practices, leadership experiences, and forward-looking strategies in education.
Suggested areas include:
- Student voice and learner-centred education
- Co-creation of the curricula
- Technology-enhanced learning and assessment
- Changing teaching practices during and beyond the pandemic
- Wellbeing, mental health and digital support systems for learners
- Designing inclusive and accessible learning environments
- Decolonising the curriculum through collaborative and digital approaches
- Impact of One Health through education through cross-disciplinary collaboration
- AI, robotics, simulation, and digital tools in healthcare teaching and learning
While the programme committee has outlined suggested areas, submissions beyond this list are strongly encouraged. If you have innovative ideas, pilots, or case studies to share, please submit your abstract for consideration.
3. Public & Community Engagement
This stream seeks to surface insights into emerging trends, digital enablers, and innovative practices in community, civic, and social engagement aligned with the One Health agenda. We welcome reflections from leaders, practitioners, NGOs, and organisations working at the community level.
Suggested areas for submission include:
- Current and emerging community engagement challenges related to One Health
- Cross-sector collaborations supporting sustainable and inclusive health outcomes
- Community-based innovation aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
- SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being
- SDG 4: Quality Education
- SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
- SDG 13: Climate Action
- SDG 15: Life on Land
Submissions may highlight achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and future plans, with an emphasis on impact, scalability, and sustainability.

How to Submit the Abstract?
- Step 1: Register for the event via our online registration.
- Step 2: Refer to the guidelines for more information and the requirement details.
- Submission & Presentation Guidelines, refer to Appendix A.
- Sample Abstract (Oral / Poster) for Initial Submission, refer to Appendix B.
- Poster Presentation Guidelines, refer to Appendix C.
- Oral Presentation Guidelines, refer to Appendix D.
- Step 3: Prepare your abstract using the following structure (no references, figures or tables are required):
- Objective
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion.
- Step 4: Email your completed abstract to [email protected] with the subject line: "One Health: IMU Alumni Conference & Exhibition 2026 - Abstract Submission
Note: If you are an
industry professional or external participant with case studies, innovations, community projects, or applied experiences aligned with the One Health theme, you are encouraged to submit an abstract even if it does not follow a traditional academic format. The organising committee will review all submissions and contact shortlisted presenters.
Abstract Selection and Presentation
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Programme Committee. Notifications on abstract acceptance and presentation scheduling will be communicated to the submitting author via email.
Please note that if an abstract is accepted for oral presentation, the presenting author will be allocated a maximum of one oral presentation in the conference programme.
