Prof Vishna Nadarajah is an experienced educator and higher education leader. She is currently Provost and CEO at Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia, a branch campus of Newcastle University United Kingdom. Before assuming her current position, she was a Professor in the School of Medicine and Deputy-Vice Chancellor, Institutional Development and International at the International Medical University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Her areas of research for health professions education are in Faculty Development, Assessments, Professionalism, and Innovative Teaching Learning methods. Her contributions to professional development, being Deputy Editor in the Journal Medical Education, International Editorial Board member of the Journal Medical Teacher and member of the AMEE Governing Committee. She was recipient of the ASME Gold Medal for excellence in Medical Education in 2023 and more recently presented with the Ian Hart Award 2024 for her contributions in Assessments across Health Professions Education.
