27-year-old Shinah Saeed from Maldives is in her last semester of medical school. She won the President’s Scholarship to complete her bachelor’s degree abroad at the International Medical University (IMU) in Malaysia. At IMU, Shinah has been involved in numerous activities and organisations such as the Asian Medical Students Association, Malaysian World Health Assembly 2017 and Athena- Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Women Empowerment Society of IMU Clinical School.
