During the 2nd International Conference on Organic and Analytical Chemistry organised by Larix International, Singapore on 23-24 November 2019, researchers from private and public universities in Malaysian and also across the globe presented their research findings on topics related to the conference theme “Molecules for Life”. Dr Vasudeva participated as an oral speaker in a vibrant scientific session covering major areas of organic synthesis which included facile synthesis of catalysts, diversity-oriented synthesis, high quality industrial scale synthetic product formations and hybrid molecular design and synthesis respectively. In this esteemed IMU research project, based on virtual screening via molecular docking simulations a series of novel hybrid molecular designs were identified as a new class of 5-lipoxygenase inhibitors.
