The Inter-Medical School Clinical Anatomy Workshop / Competition was organised by IMU’s Students’ Representative Council (SRC)–Medicine along with anatomists of Human Biology Division in collaboration with Malaysian Anatomical Association (MAA) on 16 October 2018 at IMU Bukit Jalil campus.
Anatomists of IMU prepared and vetted the clinical scenarios with the help of the members of Malaysian Anatomical Association. Dean, School of Medicine, IMU conducted a lottery to randomly distribute the scenarios for the teams. SRC-Medicine appointed students ‘committee under guidance from A/Prof Nilesh Kumar, Chairperson of the Competition, meticulously arranged the registration and other arrangements with the help of Student Services Department IMU. IMU students who participated in the competition commented that they enjoyed the competition and learn a lot from each other about how to make a presentation interactive and interact with the audience despite keeping to the depth of the subject. They also learnt the application of anatomy in different clinical contexts and disciplines.
