Prof Mallikarjuna Rao Pichika, Associate Dean (Research & Consultancy) of School of Pharmacy at International Medical University (IMU) has been awarded the prestigious Royal Society of Chemistry Fellowship (FRSC) by the Royal Society Chemistry (RSC), London. This deserved recognition is awarded as an acknowledgement of his high professional standing, depth of experience, excellence and scientific input in addition to his distinguished contributions in chemistry and pharmacy education as well as the pharmaceutical industry.
Prof Mallikarjuna said “I am very honoured to receive this fellowship from RSC. I strongly believe in the mechanism of ripple effects and the targeted positivity that it could bring. With the awarded FRSC, I hope to further shape the future of the pharmaceutical chemistry profession in Malaysia by continuing my effort in inspiring and engaging the students as well as sharing my expertise among colleagues at IMU.”
