Eligibility This competition is open to all Malaysians, permanent residents,
international students and expatriates who are studying, working and staying in
Malaysia. Participants who are below 18 years old as of 31 December 2017 are
required to have parent or guardian’s approval and signature on the entry form.

Items to collect T-Shirt and Bib

Note: Please find below the required documentation for collection:

i) Receipt of IPAY88 payment and registration slip.
ii) IC/Passport for verification during collection
iii) Consent letter (for participants below 18 years old)
iv) Authorisation form signed by runner, list of participants & IC No and the person collecting on behalf (for bulk/group collections) (Download Form)
v) For student registration, kindly show your student ID upon collection
vi) Strictly no collection on Run Day

Access to Venue

  1. IMU is situated next to Sri Petaling Station (Star LRT / Sri Petaling Line). This is the most accessible option. Ample parking space for cars and buses are provided in the vicinity of IMU.

Where to park?

  1. IMU Car Park – IMU Basement and Hilltop
    – IMU Basement parking is not available to outsiders. Both SB and LG are only for staff.
    –  Hilltop parking is available for outsider/runners. But it’s on first-come first-served basis and will be charged per entry.
  2. Bukit Jalil Stadium Parking Lot C (RM2 per entry)

    Road Closure: Road to Hilltop and IMU Basement will be closed at 6:30 am.

Age Qualification

  1.  Participation is open to all ages.
  2. Participants who are below 18 years old are required to register together with parents or guardians or register under the Fun Run (Photo Dash), 3km Category.

Registration Procedures

  1. Registration fees are non-transferable.
  2. There will be absolutely no refunds upon registration.
  3. Your registration is only valid upon payment of registration fees.
  4. Only online payment is available for online registration.


  1. All runners above 12 years old will receive a T-shirt & children, 12 years old and below will not be given a T-shirt.


  1.  Participants are required to attach the assigned Bib on the front of the running attire throughout the running process. Participants not wearing a Bib will be suspended from the run.
  2. The Organisers reserve the right to use any photographs (including those of Participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the IMU Chariofare Charity Run 2017, for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising.
  3. These following items are strictly prohibited on the race route of IMU Chariofare Charity Run 2017: Pets, skateboards, bicycle, roller blades, baby joggers and any other forms of vehicles.
  4. The Organisers reserve the rights to cancel, limit or refuse any run entries without any associated reasons.
  5. A participant who commences to run before the actual start time of his/her registered category as well as failing to acquire all the respective checkpoint bands will be disqualified.
  6. Participants who do not start within 20 minutes from respective flag off (3km, 5km & 10km) will be disqualified and for safety reasons may not be allowed to start.

Fun Run (Photo Dash)

  1.  There is no specific theme for the Fun Run (Photo Dash).
  2. Participants are allowed to paint themselves up without any restrictions but drawings should not contain any profanity or insult.
  3. Participants who choose to participate in the challenge will pose for a picture at specific stations throughout the run. No restrictions on the pose, but it should not contain any profane, insulting or obscene gestures.
  4. Decisions on the best photos will be final. No appeals will be entertained.

Certificate of Participation

  1.  Every runner will be entitled to an e-certificate which will be
    available on the IMU Chariofare website.
  2. Runners are required to key in their IC number on the website in order to get the e-certificates.

  1.  Participants are required to run on the road except as directed by the race marshal / RELA or police.
  2. Unauthorized vehicles are NOT allowed to accompany the runners.
  3. No Participants are allowed to run with their Bib attached on the race route after 10am on the day of the run.

Baggage Deposit

  1.  The Organisers will not be responsible of any loss / damage to the personal belongings and items deposited at the event baggage storage facility. Due to security reasons, the Organisers reserve the right to check any item or baggage deposited.
