Named after IMU’s Group Managing Director, Professor Gerard George, a globally renowned scholar in innovation and entrepreneurship, the award recognises individuals who embody visionary thinking, societal impact, and sustainable contributions.

A distinguished leader in Malaysia’s healthcare ecosystem, Dr Paul Chan (ME298 medical cohort) has spent over two decades bridging clinical excellence with strategic healthcare entrepreneurship. After graduating with distinction from IMU, Dr Paul pursued an MBA in Healthcare Management—topping his class—and is currently completing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) at UNITAR International University.
