About the Carnival

What’s an event without food, games and a whole lot of fun? Accompanying IMU’s charity run, “Chariofare”, there will be a carnival whereby our aim is to entertain and satisfy you with an array of performances, activities and of course, food.  All profits raised from the carnival will be donated to our beneficiary.

Carnival starts at 8.00 am and finishes at 1.30 pm.  Booths will be up and ready to go by 8.00 a.m. Speech and performances will start at 8.30.

What will I be able to enjoy there?

• A large variety of captivating and authentic food stalls run by our own IMU students and staff! External vendors will be arranged around the campus too.
• Variety of games and activity booths will be run by IMU students and staff for the whole family to enjoy.
• Enthralling performances to be sure to fascinate you throughout the event. Don’t miss it!
• Various healthcare products, as well as items of convenience, will also be sold.
• Medical, dental, and traditional Chinese Medicine health checkups will also be available for you to squeeze in between games or meals.

How do I pay for food/activities?

All purchases will be paid for using coupons. There will be no monetary exchanges for all the carnival booths/events.

How do I buy coupons?

Coupons will be on sale during the day of the carnival itself. Coupons will also be available for sale earlier on, within the IMU campus when you register for our Charity Run and during our roadshows.

The Lucky Draw!

Stand a chance to win some fantastic prizes by simply purchasing a booklet of coupons, worth RM10 each! Every book of coupon comes attached with a complimentary coupon containing a serial number printed on it. Upon purchase of a book of coupons, you will automatically be eligible for our amazing lucky draw.

You will have two chances to win, as we will be having 2 lucky draw sessions, with one before, and another on the day of Chariofare itself. Both lucky draws will be held in the Atrium of International Medical University (IMU), Bukit Jalil Campus.

The FIRST DRAW will happen before the event. We will announce the date soon.
The GRAND DRAW will happen on Saturday, 7 September, at various times, on the day of Chariofare itself.
