Three inbound mobility students from Fooyin University, Taiwan โ€“ Lin Wan Jhih, Hsieh Yi Ting, and Chen Yu Chieh โ€“ joined the Biomedical Science programme for their internship from 5 to 16 August 2024.

Throughout their stay, the students engaged in a variety of academic and research activities designed to enrich their learning experience. They participated in classes, Problem-Based Learning (PBL) sessions, practical lab work, and workshops, all of which provided hands-on exposure to the discipline. A particularly enjoyable aspect of the programme was their involvement in research projects, where they eagerly collaborated with IMU faculty and students, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scientific challenges.

The programmeโ€™s objectivesโ€”to provide practical experience, foster cross-cultural understanding, and enhance global academic collaborationโ€”were realised through the active participation and enthusiasm of both the visiting students and the IMU community. All staff and students warmly welcomed the Fooyin University participants and ensured a supportive environment, ensuring a truly productive and enriching experience.

This collaborative effort underscores IMUโ€˜s commitment to nurturing future biomedical professionals and promoting international academic exchange. We look forward to future opportunities to build upon this successful partnership.
