When I was deciding where to pursue my studies, I wanted a university that would not only provide strong academic training but also support my personal growth and career aspirations. I chose IMU University because of its excellent reputation, dedicated lecturers, and comprehensive learning environment. The campus also offered great facilities and easy access to transportation, which made daily life much more convenient.
Looking back, my experience at IMU was truly rewarding. Being part of a small cohort created a close-knit community where it was easy to connect with classmates and make lifelong friends. I met some of the most amazing people during my time here, friends who made my student life meaningful and memorable. The lecturers were always approachable, supportive, and encouraging, which really helped me stay motivated throughout my studies.
Of course, the journey was not without its challenges. In the beginning, it took some time to adapt to the demanding schedule and the complexity of the coursework. The subjects were intense, and I had to learn how to manage my time effectively. However, as I continued, I discovered my own learning style, and that made a huge difference. The challenges I faced taught me resilience and discipline, qualities that have continued to help me in my career today.

After completing my internship at SGS Malaysia in the Microbiology Laboratory, I joined My Cytohealth as a Laboratory Scientist Executive. This role has allowed me to apply the knowledge and practical skills I developed at IMU to real-world laboratory work. Every day, I see how the foundation I built during my time at the university continues to shape my professional growth.
Award Received During Convocation

In the future, I hope to pursue a Master’s degree after gaining more experience in the working field. My long-term goal is to continue in the research field, where I can contribute to meaningful scientific discoveries and advancements.
If I could give one piece of advice to future IMU students, it would be this:
As much as studying hard is important, make time for your friends and enjoy your student life. It’s one of the most memorable periods of your life, and you’ll truly miss it when it’s over.
