From 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, the event provided IMU students with a prime opportunity to connect with professionals from various medical, healthcare, and related industries.
The Career Fair was the main highlight of Graduate Career Week, which ran from 10 to 12 September and included a range of career development workshops.

The fair commenced with the official launch of the Graduate Career Fair and the Career Development Flagship Programme, officiated by YBhg Academician Professor Emerita Datuk Dr Asma Ismail, Vice Chancellor of IMU University, alongside IMU’s Senior Management team, adding a sense of grandeur to the occasion. During the launch, Prof Asma presented tokens of appreciation to the industry speakers from the Career Development Flagship Programme.
The booth exhibition served as the vibrant centerpiece of the event, featuring 99 exhibitors from a wide range of sectors including medical and healthcare providers, pharmaceuticals, retail pharmacy, healthcare technology, insurance, and private hospitals. Over 400 students from various Schools eagerly participated in the fair, engaging with industry representatives and exploring career opportunities.
The event had a significant impact when our IMU Group Chairman, YAM Tunku Ali Redhauddin ibni Tuanku Muhriz, took the time to join the booth tour, accompanied by our Group Managing Director, Prof Gerard George.
Although he was on campus for another event, he made it a point to visit the booths, warmly welcoming and engaging with our industry partners.
A standout feature of the event was the IMU Meet & Greet: Networking Session. This session provided a platform for industry representatives, IMU’s Senior Management, and academia to foster potential collaborations and partnerships.
During the networking session, we also witnessed the establishment of a new partnership with Innoquest Pathology as a partner in the Graduate Trainee Program (GTP).
The IMU Graduate Career Fair 2024 was hailed as a tremendous success by companies, students, and staff alike. It provided a dynamic platform for meaningful connections and opportunities within the healthcare and related industries. IMU’s continued commitment to bridging academia and industry further cements its role in nurturing industry-ready graduates and contributing to the healthcare sector’s growth.
