IMU Student Ambassador Senior Appreciation Night (SASAN) 2024 is a special annual event honouring the outstanding accomplishments of our graduating Student Ambassadors 2023/2024 cohort. This year, we are breaking new ground by hosting SASAN at the Hush the Theatre in Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) on 4 October, 2024. This change of venue promises a more elevated and memorable experience for everyone involved.
This heartfelt tradition is designed to honour the invaluable contributions of the outgoing senior student ambassadors. The gathering serves as a platform for current student ambassadors to express their sincere gratitude for their predecessors’ guidance, support, and mentorship. Moreover, the event aims to foster a sense of camaraderie and strengthen the bonds among students, senior student ambassadors, and mentors, creating a lasting legacy of mentorship and collaboration within the IMU Student Ambassador community.
What’s a Night, With Performances
The culinary delights served to our senior and junior Student Ambassadors, as well as our esteemed mentors, were nothing short of exceptional.
The evening was further elevated by captivating performances from two talented duos: Ethan Yap and Yee Siao Thong, and Aristal and Shanice Kong. Their performances, coupled with the delectable food, created an unforgettable experience. We extend our sincere gratitude to the IMU Music Club for their invaluable collaboration in making SASAN 2024 a resounding success.
The Awards Ceremony
As the main event approached, the eager senior student ambassadors held their breath, waiting to hear the names of the three outstanding award recipients. Alongside, we have Ms Nur Attikah, Student Talent Development and Ms Florence Ling Shu Fen, Head of Student Services, presenting the awards and certificates to the recipients.
