What Our Students Really Think About the Programme!
Commenting on his study visit experience to the industry, Zulhanani Bt Zahri said, “My first semester at IMU has been educational and enjoyable. The chance to visit private hospitals for our study trip was an additional highlight of this semester. These visits provided us with valuable exposure to the healthcare industry, allowing us to learn from professionals about managing a healthcare institution. Seeing healthcare management in action helped bridge the gap between theory and practice. We also had the opportunity to participate in a hackathon at KLCC, where we pitched our ideas. Although we didn’t win, our lecturers were still proud of us, reminding us that the experience itself was the most valuable part.”

Zulhanani continues, “Another aspect of our educational experience that I truly value is the effort lecturers put in to make a connection between different subjects. For example, how the subjects covered in Principles of Healthcare Management are related to Human Resource Management, meanwhile, how Digital Business and Marketing are related to Microeconomics and Entrepreneurship. This integrated approach makes it easy to comprehend and apply the knowledge we have gained from different classes.”
Peh Jing Ning agreed with Zulhanani and added, “This semester was very interesting and fulfilling. I enjoyed working with my classmates and appreciated the courses offered by the university. The assignments and coursework throughout the semester contributed to my intellectual and personal development.”
“The teaching methods were engaging, and the numerous industry visits during our studies expanded my knowledge beyond what is taught in the classroom. Our lecturers were kind and approachable, always responding to our questions professionally and guiding us when we faced challenges with our assignments.”

“I have learned so much this semester. As this was my first time entering university, there were many things I didn’t know, and my English wasn’t particularly strong. However, every lecturer was enthusiastic and patient in guiding me. Their detailed explanations, professionalism and classroom atmosphere made me feel at ease. Overall, my experience in Semester 1 was wonderful. If I had to rate it, I’d give it 4.9 out of 5 stars!” said Leong Xiao Qing.
An international student highlighted, “This semester we were very blessed to have lecturers who care about us and were willing to listen to us and suit to our needs. We are struggling with new things to us such as eLearn portal, attendance apps and deadlines of assignment. I am also struggling with the Malay language because it was not offered this semester. I think that it is an important subject for foreign students like me to learn early on so that we can live in this country and connect with everyone while studying here and for those who want to continue working and living here in the future”.
