ACR Learning Centre


The Alliance of Chin Refugees (ACR) in Malaysia was formed in 2005. Presently, there are a total of 17 ethnic groups (over 32,000 people) that are supported by ACR. Education and medical facilities are difficult for them to access and the living conditions are poor. In order to improve the educational support for the refugee children, ACR established the ACR Learning Centre. Currently, the ACR Learning Centre supports around 250 children in the vicinity of Pudu KL.



  • To improve the oral health needs of the refugee children.
  • To educate the children and the staff of ACR Learning Centre about important health issues.
