IMU Cares Integration with MPU (U4) Module

Many student groups have been conducting community service projects at existing IMU Cares Community Partners as part of their MPU (U4) project. Find below the list of activities that students can undertake as part of their MPU (U4) project. Each student group may select one of the following:

  1. Exercise Training
Since the residents are disabled and more than 80% of them are disabled, they do not do any regular exercise. Students can train them on regular exercises that disabled individual can practice daily. Students may get help from IMU chiropractic department and from IMU rehabilitation centre.
  2. Diet Planning
N&D students or other students with the help of N&D department can plan a nutrition assessment and interventions. Individualised diet plan and advices should be provided to the residents. Most of the residents do not follow any dietary restrictions/plan even though some of them are suffering from chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
  3. Environmental Conservation
