- Conducted basic hand wash education with the children to help them understand importance of hand hygiene and 7 steps of effective hand washing, especially in times of pandemic.
- Conducted general awareness on importance of proper showering to maintain general health of hair and skin.
- General hygiene education
- Medication safety training for caretakers to help them be more organised and aware of medication expiry, dosage and management when prescribing them to the children.
Outcome
- Children will practise good hygiene and will be able to improve knowledge in proper hand washing and bathing techniques in daily life.
- Good hygiene knowledge retained by the children in the following visit in the next 6 months
- We see higher adoption of medication safety practice where all expired medication are disposed, all medication are organised and labelled properly.
- At least 50% of the caretakers will know where to find the expiry date on medications, importance of doing periodic medication check and the proper way to dispose expired medication
