Laboratory Testing
We offer state-of-the-art laboratory testing facilities that support a wide range of industries, including pharmaceutical and herbal, food and beverage, cosmetics, environmental, and water sectors. Our laboratories are ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited and adhere to the highest quality standards to deliver reliable and accurate test results for both internal projects and external customers. Beside, our testing services are aligned with those listed in the IKM Directory of Laboratory Services and Consultancy.

Consultancy Services and Contract Research
Through a diverse pool of IMU’s subject matter experts, we deliver consultancy and customised contract research services. Our experts provide guidance and solutions across various areas or expertise, including pharmacy & pharmaceutical chemistry, public health, health economics & health system, nutrition & dietetics, dentistry, traditional & complementary medicine, healthcare business & management, bioethics, veterinary medicine, human genetics and genomics, as well as microbiology, genetics & genomics.
Biostatistics Consultations
The Biostatistics Core Facility conducts collaborative biostatistical research and provides statistical supports for universities, industries and government agencies. The primary objective of this core facility is to ensure that studies are well designed, correctly analysed, clearly presented, and correctly interpreted. The Biostatistics Core Facility provides methodological and statistical support that facilitate and enhance basic, clinical, and translational research and provides high priority assistance in developing grant proposals and publication. This assistance includes designing studies, developing analytic plans, and analysing pilot data.
Systematic Review & Meta Analysis Tools (Meta-IMU)
Meta-analysis is a procedure used to statistically combine the results of multiple studies that investigate a similar research question. This allows healthcare professionals to make well-informed decisions. Meta-IMU is a free R-based Shiny application designed to provide a one-stop solution in conducting meta-analysis.
IMU-MOH Clinical Trial Unit
Located at Klinik Kesihatan Seremban, our Clinical Trial Unit operates in collaboration with the Ministry of Health Malaysia. It serves as a hub for conducting high-quality clinical trials, supporting the development and evaluation of novel therapeutic approaches.
