Workshop Overview:-

Small group learning especially PBL has been an important teaching and learning tools in IMU. Effectiveness of PBL relies on both facilitators and also students. Facilitators play an important roles to ensure that the PBL is well conducted and the outcome of PBL is achieved. This workshop is aim to expose the faculty members with the role of facilitators and strategies to ensure the smooth running of PBL.

  • Discuss the need for PBL in health sciences curricula
  • Describe the  PBL learning process
  • Describe how PBL can be assessed
