IMPORTANT NOTES FROM THE FACILITATOR:
1. Participants are required to complete the Basic Articulate Storylines 360 first before joining E-Learning Session 2: Scenario-based content design using an Articulate storyline.
2. This is an intermediate-level course. It is required that participants must have a basic understanding of Articulate storylines (Slide layers, triggers, states, and creating questions) before joining this course. Workshop Overview:-
eLearning case-based scenario is built around a situation that mimics real life as close as possible. The learner will go through the scenario and make choices that will also define the outcome. A case-based scenario will able the learners to engage by immersing themselves in the real-life situation thus easily retaining the essence of the lesson and also improving learners’ problem-solving abilities.
Pre-workshop:
You are required to go through the short course to gain knowledge of the methodology for creating a case-based scenario.
During Workshop:
Facilitators will summaries the key points from the course and answer your questions. There will be a hands-on session to create your own scenario for your learner.
Post Workshop:
You are required to submit a sample of the scenario that has been created in the short course. You will receive a badge upon completing the activity. In this course, we will explore how to create a case-based scenario using the most powerful Articulate authoring tool.
Workshop Learning Outcomes:-
After this workshop, the participants will be able to:
• Apply the methodology of creating an eLearning case-based scenario.
• Demonstrate the function of the Articulate Storyline user interface (Slide, layer, trigger).
• Develop your own interactive case-based scenario.
