Workshop Aim:
• Post examination item analysis is a process to examine student responses to individual test items (questions) in order to assess the quality of those items and of the assessment (examination paper) as a whole. At IMU, post examination item analysis should be performed in all the academic programmes delivered as part of quality assurance and improvement of assessment. The purpose of this workshop is to enhance faculty understanding of post-examination item analysis.
Workshop Objectives:
• To enhance faculty understanding of post-examination item analysis
Workshop Learning Outcomes:-
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
1) interpret findings from item analysis (e.g., facility values and discrimination, point biserial)
2) use findings in the process of item revision or improvement.
