Workshop Overview:
This workshop will enable participants to learn the principles and methodologies of clinical audit in the assessment of their clinical/care work, and identify the strengths and gaps. This enables them to take the necessary remedial actions to close these gaps, thereby improve their clinical/care performance. As educators, participants will learn to implement clinical audit training in their curricula, enhancing the knowledge and analytical skills of their students to carry out clinical audit and translate the outcomes into research and publication.
Workshop Objectives:
- To discuss the principles and methodologies of clinical audit in teaching/learning and Research.
- To provide hands-on training in developing a clinical audit strategy.
- To provide hands-on training in developing a clinical audit proposal.
Learning Outcomes:
- apply knowledge and skills to carry out a clinical audit
- design a clinical audit learning activity for undergraduates
- prepare the results of a clinical audit learning activity for publication
