Workshop Objective:-
A peer assessment involves active participation from the students whereby they will offer feedback and suggestions for improvement for their peers. Students will be asked to comment on and judge or rate the work or presentation of their peers. Peer assessment is conducted using marking criteria or rubric provided. It is important for the student to understand the importance of peer assessment and feel comfortable, confident and trusting one another in order to provide honest, objective and constructive feedback.
Workshop Learning Outcomes:-
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Discuss the roles of peer assessment.
- Identify methods for peer assessment appropriate for different teaching and learning context.
- Apply tips to increase the reliability and validity of peer assessment.
