Workshop Overview:-
- Small group learning especially PBL has been an important teaching and learning tool in IMU. The effectiveness of PBL relies on both facilitators and also students. Facilitators play an important role to ensure that the PBL is well conducted and the outcome of PBL is achieved. This workshop aims to expose the faculty members to the role of facilitators and strategies to ensure the smooth running of PBL.

- Explain the educational principle of Problem Based Learning (PBL)
- Discuss the need for PBL in health sciences curricula
- Describe the PBL learning process
- Describe how PBL can be assessed
- Trigger your interest and participation in PBL
