Overview:-
There are some global challenges to any standard-setting procedures. The current workshop designed for online delivery will address those challenges considering the basic key concepts in standard settings in medical education. In medical education practice, a passing score of 50% cannot sustain any more in a defendable and credible assessment for discriminating between the good and the poor-performing students. To consider options for a better logical decision, standard setting is a way forward.
Learning Outcomes:-
After this, the participants will be able to:
- Define the common standard-setting methods practiced in medical education.
- Perform the Modified Angoff procedure for the written test of SBA/OBA.
- Perform the BRM to determine the cut-off score in the clinical test of OSCE.
