The course on Fundamentals of Teaching and Learning in Health Professions Education (FTL)  was launched in 2013 as IMU Basic Teaching License (BTL).  This is a mandatory programme for all IMU Faculty. It is a five-day course and is designed to provide fundamentals of teaching and learning to all faculty based on IMU education philosophy.  The course  was renamed Fundamentals of Teaching and Learning in Health Professions Education in line with the name of the  same module soon to be offered in the Master in Health Professions Education.
