- Administer financial support and payment
- Support administration of CoE
Research Grant Management
- Manage internal & external research funds
- Monitor research fund remittance and expenditure
- Identify and disseminate funding opportunities
- Identify and establish collaborative opportunities with national and international agencies
- Provide administrative and technical support to new project or grant application
Research Compliance, Reporting and Analytic
- Manage research funding data and contracts
- Analyse research performance data
- Provide data evidence-driven decision making
- Prepare reports for various rating exercises, e.g. MyRA, SETARA & QS
- Prepare BOD and BOG reports
- Prepare documents for MQA accreditation
- Support IMU Digital Transformation Initiatives
Training and Knowledge Dissemination
- Training programmes on research ethics, grant writing, project management, publication, and IP management
- Administer the online CITI Training Programme for IMU-JC members, staff and students
- Organise conferences, workshops and Translational Research Seminars
- Publish annual report on research highlights and performance

The IMU Research Laboratory is a centralised, shared research spaces and resources that are well-equipped with the instruments, technologies, testing and services and infrastructure necessary for researchers to conduct their work effectively and safely. The Research Laboratories and Facilities provide conducive environments to support scientific investigation, experimentation and analysis of all biomedical research.
