Workshop Overview:-

Gamification is becoming increasingly used in educational settings for a number of reasons. In short, it ‘makes the hard stuff more fun’, helping to motivate students and make them more engaged with the subject matter. Gamification in learning involves using game-based elements such as point scoring, peer competition, leader board to drive engagement in completing tasks.

After this workshop, the participants will be able to:

  • Describe gamification and its usage in the area of teaching and learning;
  • Discover new tools, methods, and approaches to apply gamification elements in eLearning environment;
  • Develop and share strategies to incorporate gamification in your online teaching environment.
