"Cinemeducation" has been mentioned as using the dynamic power of cinema in health professions education and plays a significant role in developing various aspects of humanism like building values, attitudes, and behaviours among medical students, and practicing doctors. Realizing its power and potential, health professions institutions globally are directing their efforts to help students develop a humanistic perspective by using interactive teaching-learning media like clips from movies, videos, and drama series, etc. Ingraining Cinemeducation in the curriculum helps health professional students get a deeper insight into empathy and the patient perspective while providing care.
