Workshop Synopsis:-

Student engagement improves student’s commitment to learning, critical thinking and motivation. Using multiple sensor, advanced optics, and holographic processing holograms can be used to display information in mixed reality environment, to stimulate a virtual world. GigXR immersive applications can augment the use of anatomy models/cadavers and manikins. HoloHuman uses full-size, immersive holograms to allow instructors and students to explore regions of the body, 12 different systems, and many anatomical structures for both male and female.

This workshop is specifically designed to empower educators to demonstrate to the students 3-dimensional view of organs through hands-on experience with Microsoft HoloLens and the complete anatomy app. Participants will explore the transformative potential of AR/mixed reality view of anatomical structures in teaching, gaining practical skills in integrating immersive learning tools into their curriculum. This session will cover the fundamentals of HoloLens technology and complete anatomy app, its application in visualizing anatomical structures and how to design interactive lessons that enhance student engagement. By the end of the workshop, faculties will be equipped with the knowledge and confidence to effectively implement HoloLens and Complete Anatomy in their teaching environments.

Workshop Objective:-

The objective of this workshop is to:

1. Introduce immersive learning with HoloLens Technology and Complete Anatomy App.
2. Provide Hands-on experience in both HoloLens and complete anatomy application.
3. Educate faculty on the technical setup, logistical setup, and challenges of implementing HoloLens in their courses.

After this workshop, the participants will be able to:

1. Utilize Holohuman with HoloLens Technology for anatomy teaching.
2. Integrate complete anatomy and HoloLens in anatomy teaching.
