Synopsis:-
The aim of the session is to explore the concept of peer/near-peer teaching (NPT) within HPE, linking educational theory to practice. Prof Thampy will also discuss the benefits and potential challenges when utilizing near-peer senior students/ trainees to teach junior learners. He will also explore the concept of professional identity as it applies to NPT and develop practical strategies to develop senior students’/ trainees’ identity as NPT.
