Workshop Objective:-
To discuss the key concepts of assessment and quality assurance of assessment.
Workshop Overview:-
Assessment is a core academic activity and an essential component of the learning process. The quality assurance cycle assures the integrity of the assessment and reporting of student achievement against the performance standards. This workshop will provide a walkthrough of the key principles of student assessment as well as the external and internal quality assurance processes of quality educational assessment. This workshop will also discuss the processes and procedures in place to gather evidence and make assessment decisions and reporting.
Workshop Learning Outcome:-
After this workshop, the participants will be able to:
- Describe the key principles of assessment.
- Develop questions to assess learning outcomes.
- Describe the importance of quality assurance of assessments.
